Terms & Conditions for Freelancy

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Freelancy application ("Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Freelancy is a platform designed to facilitate the recruitment of employees for jobs and professionals for projects. It allows users to post, search, and apply for job or project opportunities.

3. User Eligibility

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.
• Legal Capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

4. User Account

• Registration: To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
• Responsibility for Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

5. Use of Service

• Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the Service:
  • For any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law;
  • To post or transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware;
  • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others;
  • To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability.

6. Content

• User Content: You are solely responsible for the content you post on the Service. By posting content, you grant Freelancy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Service.

7. Privacy

• Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you.

8. Payment and Transactions

• Fees: Certain features of the Service may require payment. The pricing and payment terms will be clearly set out in the app or on our website.
• Third-Party Processors: Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. You agree not to hold Freelancy liable for any issues involving payment processing.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Freelancy, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
